Need volunteers for your Organisation

Offaly Volunteer Centre offers a range of support services to help involve volunteers in a meaningful and effective way with organisations.   We advertise volunteering opportunities on our website and we offer advice and guidance to groups or on a one-to-one basis.  Our training and workshops are devised and regularly update by VCI, to assist groups and organisations on best practice and policies when engaging with volunteers.

Register your organisation and your volunteering opportunity by completing the 'Register an Opportunity' form and we will then contact you on the best practice and recruitment methods. We will endeavour to match volunteers for that opportunity.

We support local organisations and groups who are, or wish to engage volunteers through:

• Placement:

We match individuals and groups interested in volunteering with appropriate opportunities in the local community.

• Promotion:

We encourage interest and raise awareness of volunteering through outreach at local events and through other marketing and promotion to the general public.

• Training:

Through training, workshops and other events we encourage organisations to involve volunteers in a meaningful way, to respect their volunteers and volunteering itself as an activity and to effectively manage their volunteers.

• Support:

We work with local organisations to develop worthwhile volunteer opportunities in the county.  We are here to answer your questions, meet with you for advice and to help you broaden and develop the ways in which you involve volunteers in your work.
